Reading has been considered a leading technology hub for some time, with claims that it’s Britain’s answer the Silicon Valley in the US. But how and why has the town achieved this impressive status? Here are some of the reasons:

Earlier this year we began working with Ecologi to start the job to offset our carbon emissions by planting trees across the UK. The initiative is part of our ongoing focus on sustainability and our work to ensure that The Blade becomes carbon neutral. The Blade has always been a champion of providing eco-friendly office space. This year we secured the highest BREEAM rating for any Berkshire office building.
